Pharmacy Intern I

Job Summary:
Under moderate direction, completes internship by assisting Pharmacist in preparing and delivering medications and maintaining inventory and records. Involved in quality programs. Embraces the goals/objectives encompassing Pharmaceutical activities for the Oakwood Healthcare System. Promotes team efforts to manage and achieve departmental/corporate objectives. Demonstrates good judgement and decisiveness throughout daily activities. Maintains knowledge of current Pharmaceutical practice and demonstrates a personal commitment to professional growth. Supports management by providing guidance and support for all assigned areas. Participates in the planning, organization and implementation of new programs and activities. Participates in strategies to increase market share, reduce cost and improve customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
Education: Fulfilling requirements toward a Bachelors or Pharm.D. Degree in Pharmacy
Licensure: Current Michigan Pharmacy Intern License
Skills and Abilities: Interpersonal and organizational skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
